Box It Out

I recently took up kickboxing and it has been the best thing for my body and mind. I’m not the most coordinated person and it’s been challenging me in more ways than I could’ve imagined. While you must be sure to fuel up on nutrients and protein the night before & morning of, also be sure to drink plenty of water before and after the session. In addition, kickboxing provides several benefits:

  1. Increased heart rate and blood flow
  2. Jump start metabolism to pump throughout the whole day – continuously burning calories
  3. Fat torching choreography
  4. Stress and mental relief
  5. Improve coordination skills
  6. Improve mind & body focus

When you’re ready to BOX IT OUT with a bag, be prepared to sweat and punch (click link to video) but also make sure if you’re a beginner to start out with a coach! Injuries are easy to avoid by knowing the DO’s & DON’Ts.
